"I think we found the real Columbus Crew way of play, and it's fun."

Here is the proverbial team that nobody wants to face in the playoffs.

"I think we found the real Columbus Crew way of play, and it's fun."
The last home game of the regular season: Crew goalkeeper Evan Bush, 40, who will retire after this season, salutes the crowd during a pregame ceremony Saturday afternoon. At left are three pieces of the Crew's front-office brass -- co-owner Dr. Pete Edwards, Tim Bezbatchenko, whose title has too many words to list here, and GM Issa Tall. Bush's family is behind him. Said coach Laurent Courtois: “With the staff, we really wanted to give the fans a good experience for the last home game of the regular season – hopefully more (home games) but it was important for us to be able to give Evan Bush his farewell and goodbye to this crowd as a player. We know he has plenty of stuff coming up later with this club, but it was important for us that he was able to say bye that way. It was fun for us to watch.”
